In just ten minutes, your and your child can build a blanket fort. Using kitchen chairs or living room furniture and spare blankets or even bath towels, help your child to build a fort, allowing them to choose where and how to place the blankets.
Fill the fort with pillows and have them choose some of their favorite books to bring in. Using a flashlight or the light on your phone read the books with your child. For extended fun pretend you are in a tent in the jungle, a medieval castle, a forest cave, a spaceship, etc.
