In just ten minutes, you and your child can play while sorting laundry.
Turn the everyday chore of laundry into a fun way to engage and learn with your child. Before washing the laundry, ask your child to sort the clothes into categories such as socks, shirts, and pants. Help your child sort the clothes into the right category if she needs help.
Once that is done, re-sort the clothes into color groups such as red, blue, white, and black. After sorting by color, try sorting by size with all the big (or adult-sized) clothes in one pile and the little (or child-sized) clothes in another pile.
