Nature Art Bracelets: A Fun 10-Minute Craft for You and Your Child

In just ten minutes, you and your child can make Nature Art Bracelets.

Grab a roll of wide masking tape to bring with you on a walk or to the park. Wrap the tape around your wrist with the sticky side facing outward. Tear tape so you can secure it snugly, but not tight, on your wrist like a bracelet. Do the same for the child. Tell your child: “today we are going to make our own nature bracelet by sticking whatever we find that’s interesting to this tape on our wrist”. They can stick whatever they want. Some children may prefer to stick dead bugs to their tape over flowers. Acorns, cicada shell, wild strawberries, grass, a pistachio shell… it all makes an interesting collage of found items. When finished you’ll have fun comparing each other’s bracelets to see how they’re similar or different.
