In just ten minutes, you and your child can take a Sound Walk.
Focus on the sounds you hear as you walk together. Model active listening in the expression on your face as you sometimes stop walking to listen and discuss. Talk about sounds you each like and sounds that are alarming or scary. Your sound adventure may include sirens, barking dogs, playing children, the engine sounds of cars and busses, chirping birds, and construction work.
