Playful Pattern Games: Build Early Math Skills in 10 Minutes

In just ten minutes, you and your child can play pattern games. You can use any household items to create different patterns.

You can start patterns and then see if your child can finish them. Your child can make patterns and have you finish their patterns.

For example, you could set out a spoon, spoon, fork, spoon, spoon and then see if your child can finish the pattern. Show them cup, bowl, cup, bowl, cup and then see if they can finish the pattern. This is a great game for making setting the table for the family a snap!
