10-Minute Action Album: Build Language Skills with Photos

In just ten minutes, you and your child can create an action album. Go through the camera roll on your phone with your child to find actions shots you have taken of your child, moving them into one album, titled “Action.” Talk about what your child is doing in each picture, focusing on the verbs (the action words).

Once those photos are all in the “Action” album, go through each photo again. Ask your child to describe what he or she is doing in the photo. Take turns going through the photos and describing the actions.
