In just ten minutes, you can prep for a screen-free travel day with things you already have! If you are heading to spend time with family or friends for the summer and have a long trip ahead of you, prep for screen-free activities with materials you already have.
Put a roll of painter’s tape in your travel bag for spontaneous activities and fun. For babies and toddlers, small pieces of tape can be stuck to windows or car seat trays and pulled off again. For preschoolers, you can play a game following simple one-step or two-step directions sticking tape on or retrieving tape from objects in your travel space. With the addition of paper and crayons, small drawings can be hung with the tape on the window or the seatback tray to create an impromptu art gallery.
