In just ten minutes, you and your child can host a Playdough Picnic for your stuffed animals.
You will need a container of playdough, some small plastic or paper plates, and dinner guest stuffed animals to seat on a picnic cloth or at a table.
Show your child how to make small playdough balls by rolling it in their hands. Smash some of the balls to form “hamburgers.” Roll some of the balls between your hands to form “hotdogs.”
Now serve a hamburger and hotdog on a plate to each stuffed animal.
Your child is enjoying pretend play as they learn one-to-one correspondence and fine motor skills. Bon Appetit!
