In just ten minutes, you and your child can practice long vowel sounds as you sing the favorite children’s song, “Apples and Bananas.”
Enjoy repeating the chorus and modifying the lyrics to create more verses. Your new verses will use the same long vowel sound for all the repetitions of the words “apple” and “banana.” For instance, apply the long “e” sound so that you sing: “eeples” and “bee-nee-nees!” Have fun playing with sounds with your child.
